Lake Natron is famous for its dawn and trekking experience. reaching the spring of a river is not always that easy
The treck starts from the near village. Lots of Masai follows and annoy us trying to place their necklesses, bracelets and other doubtfully original Masai objects.
On the way go, we cross little Masai villages, locals seem to be as curios as us when we meet.
When we reach the water, the ripids become sometimes difficult to get over.
We eventually arrive at the source of the river. There's a little waterfall and we're happy to get a relaxing bath.
On the way back we experience quite a terrible moment. A group of Baboons see us from the above and start to throw stones at us, generating an avalanche. Huge rocks rolling down at high speed are letal. Fortunately nobody in the grup is injured. For those who believe, this is a miracle. For all the others, we just had 20 scary seconds of [extreme] luck.
